One of the known challenges of grouped spoke designs is the increased stress placed on the rim sections between spoke attachment points, which can lead to cracking or structural fatigue over time. To address this, Pertual developed an innovative rim profile that raises the rim shape between the spoke anchor points, reducing peak stress and distributing forces more evenly across the structure.
The result is a wheelset that is not only lightweight, stiff, and durable, but also features the distinctive wave-shaped rim profile that makes the SHARP series instantly recognizable. This innovative solution combines functional engineering with a design that truly stands out on the road.
